Are you feeding your puppy right?

Most puppy guardians ask themselves this question within the first few weeks. Usually at some point in the evening, after googling something that led to twelve conflicting answers and somehow made the whole thing feel more complicated than it did before. The anxiety is real. And honestly, it makes sense. The first months of a puppy's life are the most nutritionally significant they will ever have. What goes in the bowl right now is not just filling them up. It is building them.

The frustrating part is that the advice available rarely reflects that weight. Ask ten people what to feed a puppy and you will get ten different answers. Kibble or fresh. Grain-free or not. High protein, but not too high. Every source has a position and very few of them agree. Meanwhile your puppy is sitting at your feet, waiting for dinner, and you are no closer to knowing if you are getting it right.

The part nobody mentions about the puppy phase

Here is something that makes all of this more complicated than most people realise. The moment a puppy starts to look big, it is easy to assume the demanding part of puppyhood is behind you. The routine relaxes. The food choices feel less urgent. You stop thinking quite so carefully about what goes in the bowl.

But size is not the measure of where a dog is in their development. A Golden Retriever is still growing well past their first birthday. A German Shepherd's gut and joints are still maturing at 18 months. A Great Dane can take up to two years to be fully grown. The puppy phase is determined by breed, not by how large they look standing next to you. And during that entire window, however long it lasts, what they eat is actively shaping the dog they will become.

Their gut bacteria are forming. Their immune defences are building. Their joint cartilage is laying down the foundation it will carry for life. This is not a phase to get through. It is a window to use well. And food is one of the very few things you can genuinely control during it.

What puppies actually need

Strip everything back and the fundamentals are straightforward. Puppies need more protein than adult dogs, from real, digestible sources, to support muscle development and healthy growth. They need moisture: dry food contains around 8 to 10% moisture, and a puppy in the UAE is losing fluids through heat and activity every day. Fresh, gently cooked food is naturally moisture-rich, which supports hydration and digestion without requiring your puppy to drink large amounts separately. And they need simplicity. A puppy's gut is still maturing. The more complex and processed the food, the harder it works to extract what it needs. Real ingredients, simply prepared, reduce that strain.

The noise in the advice space exists because there is genuine variation in what works for different dogs. But underneath all of it, those three things stay constant. Protein, moisture, simplicity. Everything else is detail. Which is exactly the lens we used when we started thinking about what a bundle built specifically for puppies should look like.

Why we built the Puppy Bundle

The Puppy Bundle came from a straightforward observation. Too many guardians spend the first weeks of a puppy's life anxious, second-guessing every meal, trying to piece together advice from sources that do not agree. The nutritional side of puppyhood should not be something you have to figure out alone, and it should not require hours of research to get right. We wanted to remove that entirely, not just by making good products, but by making the decision itself simpler.

Every product in the bundle was chosen because it does something specific for a puppy at this stage of life, and because together they cover what a single meal cannot. Two gently cooked meals for the foundation. Three functional toppers for everything the meals do not reach on their own.

What is in the bundle

  • Chicken with Banana: Our most digestible meal. Lean chicken with white rice and banana, the highest protein in our range. Gentle on a developing gut and a reliable starting point from the very first bowl.
  • Turkey with Honey: A naturally palatable alternative with gentle, slow-release energy. Turkey with oats, white rice and a touch of natural honey. Easy on the stomach and rarely refused.
  • Camel Bone Broth: Three ingredients, slow-simmered to draw out collagen, amino acids and minerals. Supports the gut lining and growing joints. Pour it over either meal to add moisture and nourishment.
  • Hydrohund: Camel bone broth, watermelon, cucumber, chia seeds and blue spirulina. Replenishes the fluids and minerals the UAE heat takes from a puppy every day. Serve as a drink or stir through the bowl.
  • Supergreen Turkey: Turkey and a blend of functional greens including dandelion, broccoli and chlorella. Gently supports the liver, kidneys and gut every day, without disrupting anything.

Two meals. Three toppers. Everything your puppy needs at this stage, in one place, already thought through.

You are probably doing it right. But you deserve more than probably.

The worry most guardians carry about feeding their puppy does not come from doing a bad job. It comes from not having enough clear, honest information. From not being able to ask a puppy what they actually need and have them answer. The Puppy Bundle exists to close that gap, so instead of spending the puppy phase wondering, you can spend it on the part that matters. Watching them grow into the dog they are supposed to be.
